National Program Improvement Grant Opportunity
Coming in November 2008!
Do you want to learn effective and innovative ways to tell your community
and your funders about your program's effectiveness?
YES? Then ProLiteracy and your peers across the country are ready to help
you!
Apply to participate in Year Three of the Dollar General/ProLiteracy
Performance Accountability (DGPA) Initiative
As a one-year participating program, your program will get:
* Ideas tested by your literacy peers
* A $1,650 stipend to help offset travel and mid-year and end-of-year
reporting requirements
* Places for two staff at one of six 1.5 day regional face-to-face
trainings "Communicating Success to Stakeholders," to be held in February
and March 2009
* Access to practical online resources and support through the DGPA
wiki and discussion list
* Time to reflect on and plan program improvements
* A reason to test and evaluate some new strategies
How to get involved: Watch your email! Applications for participation will
be available in early November 2008
