I am attending the math pre-day workshop at COABE and would like to participate in this effort. I am currently a state math trainer from Tx. and am in the math institute. Looking forward to networking at COABE.

Subject: [Numeracy 157] Camtasia and math

I shared my first draft of a mini-math lesson with a few email lists I'm on, and it's sprouted. There are four or five of us who are going to try to collaborate on developing a library of interactive lessons. We'd love to have more people invovled - we're going to start with using Camtasia because that's what people have.
If anybody would like to be involved, let me know ;)

We've been talking a lot about fractions, decimals and percents on this
listserv. Anyone interested in fresh perspectives on fractions should
probably register for the Adult Numeracy Network's (ANN) COABE
conference pre-session, scheduled for March 15. Lots of nationally known
presenters will be addressing rational number topics that day. The $125
registration fee includes a continental breakfast, lunch, classroom
materials, and a year-long membership to the Adult Numeracy Network.

It would be fun to put faces to the names we read here all the time.
