Hi! I am one of the facilitators for the Texas ABE Math Institute. We don't have a web page for just us, but that may be a project we look into eventually. We have 18 Master Math Trainers/Teachers that consist of adult education teachers selected to be a part of the initiative. Our original goal was to focus mainly on the most missed questions on the GED, but has gradually worked into basic skills through transition topics such as trigonometry, quadratic equations, etc. Our trainers provide workshops throughout the state to help teachers feel more comfortable in teaching math skills.

This weekend (October 15 & 16) we are hosting a Texas Math Conference. At this conference, we will be rolling out, so to speak, lesson plans that coordinate with our 8 workshops presented at the conference. After the conference, we may be able to have the lesson plans available to others to link to - I will have to check with the director.

We are doing great things with this in Texas, and it is a continuous work in progress. I will talk to the other facilitator and director about how to make our materials more public, and will share when I have a more definitive answer.
