Colleagues,
You may be interested in the new web site of the National Commission
on Adult Literacy. It was launched just yesterday and can be found
at: www.nationalcommissiononadultliteracy.org.
As part of the site launch, the Commission is also making publicly
available a DVD presentation made to the Commission on April 17th.
It is a 17-minute talk about major findings of the New Commission on
Skills of the American Workforce by Marc Tucker, president of the
National Center for Education and the Economy and New Commission
study director. The DVD may be viewed online on either Mac or PC
platforms. It is the first entry on the PUBLICATIONS page.
