In this discussion we heard from many different organizations about what exactly they were doing to implement the National Action Plan to Improve Health Literacy. We heard from statewide health literacy coalitions, adult education programs, community health centers, advocacy agencies, primary care providers, researchers and others to show just how diverse the intended audience is for this Action Plan. The activities were just as diverse and were often mapped to the 7 goals of the Action Plan, allowing us to see which goals our own work might support. We discussed how to get started, and how to use this document to support health literacy work of all types.
