The following narrative describes a community college that has fully implemented career pathways with multiple features for
each core element of the comprehensive career pathways framework.

Abstract:

The report and matrix provides a framework for colleges to use as they develop and/or deepen institutionalization of career pathways.  Ideas generated from the National Council for Workforce Education (NCWE) conference session on career pathways in 2007 were more fully developed as strategies and characteristics to describe the process of developing and implementing career pathways. The core elements are: Instructional and Instructional Transformation, Student Supports and Tools, Partnership Driven, Employer Involvement, Continuous Improvement, and Sustainability.
