Abstract

This web-based resource provides a roadmap for “green jobs”.   Community college courses, certificate degrees, and apprenticeship programs across Oregon are mapped for five emerging and existing “green” occupations and industries, including solar and wind. Career, industry, skills progression, and labor market resources are also provided.  This resource can be used by individuals or in a classroom setting.

Benefits and Uses

The purpose of this resource is to provide students, job seekers, advisors, and counselors with education, career, labor market, and industry information about emerging green occupations. The resource provides information about existing occupations in the green industry as well as how to acquire enhanced green skills through community college and apprenticeship programs statewide.
