Abstract: 

The ESL Healthcare Bridge Program is designed to move non-native English speaking students further and faster into healthcare training programs. This bridge program is designed for students who intend to become healthcare professionals. This course reviews basic math skills with English language support.  It is intended for non-native English speaking students who intend to enter healthcare careers and have at least some previous math education. The course focuses on a review of algebra, measuring and accounting, and includes vocabulary and cultural information related to health care practice in the United States.
