Abstract

This 15+ hour preparatory curriculum for renewable energy jobs contains instructional and support materials that builds English language, technology, numeracy, and soft skills within career specific units of instruction. Included are unit materials with instructor guidelines, unit benchmarks, and student worksheets including a culminating activity that gives students the opportunity to apply all they have learned in the course. Additional student materials are available, including a video on different types of renewable energy. This unit prepares students for further education in renewable energy.
